Lycamobile extends deal with West Ham Utd by three years

Ethnic MVNO continues deal first signed in 2012 that has enabled it to utilise the Premier League club’s advertising, branding, signage and hospitality rights

Lycamobile has extended its deal with West Ham United to continue as the football club’s ‘Official Partner’ for the next three years.

The partnership, first announced in November 2012, has enabled the ethnic MVNO to utilise West Ham’s advertising, branding, signage and hospitality rights.

It has also seen the east London football club host the Lycamobile Cup at its home ground of Upton Park, which enabled local youngsters the opportunity to play there.

It also launched the co-branded Hammers SIM last September, with £2 from wach one sold going to the West Ham Community Supports Trust.

To mark the extension of the partnership, West Ham joint chairman David Gold, and players Mark Noble, Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid hosted Lycamobile global MVNOs chairman Subaskaran Allirajah on a tour of the club’s new stadium at the Queen Elizabeth Park in Stratford.

Allirajah (pictured second from right) said Lycamobile was “incredibly proud” to extend its partnership for a further three seasons.
