HTC One M9 goes on sale in the UK


Manufacturer’s new flagship smartphone now available at all major mobile retailers and operators 

The HTC One M9 – the follow-up to last year’s One M8 smartphone – has gone on sale across the UK.

It is available for free at Carphone Warehouse on a £43.50 a month Vodafone contract with unlimited minutes, texts and 4GB of data.

O2 is selling it for £41.99 a month with an upfront charge of £29.99, providing unlimited minutes, texts and 3GB of data. The operator is also giving away a free Fitbit Charge wristband until May 6.

Elsewhere, it costs £49.99 upfront on a £43.49 contract at EE, which has the device exclusively in gold, coming with 2,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data.

It is free at Vodafone for £48.50 a month with unlimited minutes, texts and 7GB of data, and costs £19 upfront at Three on a £47 a month contract with unlimited minutes, texts and data.

The HTC One M9, which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on March 1, is available in three colours: “gold on silver”, “gunmetal grey” and “gold on gold”, the last of which EE has the exclusive on.
