Manufacturer will launch the follow-up to last year’s G3 flagship at an event in Central London
LG has confirmed it will unveil its new flagship G4 smartphone at an event to be held in Central London on April 28.
Details of the event were revealed in an invite sent out by LG earlier today that simply said: ‘LG invites you to the official unveiling of the LG G4.’ A teaser video has also been released on YouTube to accompany the launch.
The launch will be the follow-up to the G3, which was released last May and is currently on sale at all major mobile retailers and operators, including Carphone Warehouse, Fonehouse, Get Connected, O2, Vodafone and Three.
Specifications for the G4, which is expected to be released next month, have not been released yet but reports have suggested it will be powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core processor and run the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system.
It could also come with a 5.5-inch touchscreen, eight megapixel rear and eight megapixel front cameras, HD video recording, 3GB of RAM, wireless charging and 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded by 128GB with a microSD card.
