TalkTalk launches UK’s “lowest priced” unlimited SIM

SIM-only plan with unlimited calls, texts and data available from £12 on TalkTalk MVNO

TalkTalk has launched a new SIM-only plan that it claims is the lowest priced unlimited SIM deal available in the UK.

The 30-day rolling deal is available to new and existing Talk Talk broadband customers and comes with unlimited calls, texts and data for just £12 per month.

The cost of the All-in SIM will rise to £24 per month, with 2,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data if a customer chooses to cancel their broadband subscription with the provider.

“We’re revolutionising mobile with our new unlimited SIM,” said TalkTalk’s MD for consumer Tristia Harrison.

“Savvy shoppers are realising that a separate mobile package costs significantly more than taking it together with their broadband and TV. Our All-in mobile SIM isn’t just for people streaming and downloading day in day out. For those simply after the best price, this is an unbeatable deal.”

TalkTalk said its mobile division, which currently runs on Vodafone but will change to O2 at the end of this year, has grown rapidly, taking a 13 per cent share for new SIM-only connections in March. It’s cheapest package starts at £3.95 and it claims to have around half a million customers.
