New colour variant follows the release of handset in December
BlackBerry has announced that a white version of the BlackBerry Classic is now on sale in the UK.
The device will be available through the BlackBerry website, Clove Technology, Mobile Phones Direct and, from the end of this week, Amazon, priced £300 including VAT.
The 3.5-inch touchscreen Classic with a keyboard is based on the BlackBerry Bold design and was released in December. The last handset in this range. the Bold 9900, was launched in May 2011.
It also features an 8MP camera, 2MP front-facing, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a HD display. It will run on the latest version of BlackBerry’s software, 10.3.1.
“The introduction of the BlackBerry Classic in white offers yet another colour choice to users who desire a stylish smartphone, yet understand the need for a mobile business tool that keeps them productive and securely manages their information,” said BlackBerry devices and emerging solutions president Ron Louks.
