Revenues down by almost a third from March and 32.4 per cent from a year ago, despite the release of the One M9 flagship smartphone the previous month
HTC has posted its lowest sales in April for six years, despite the release of its flagship One M9 smartphone at the end of March.
It reported revenues of NT$13.5 billion (£285 million), down by almost a third from March and 38.7 per cent from to April 2014.
It was the Taiwanese manufacturer’s lowest April revenue since 2009, when it reported sales of NT$11.4 billion.
The slump in sales came despite the release of its new flagship One M9 smartphone (pictured) at the end of March, which was announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the previous month.
