Smartwatch will cost £99 and will be available from Currys/ PC World from “mid-June”
Alcatel Onetouch will begin selling its first wearable next month through Currys/ PC World.
The Chinese manufacturer said its WATCH will launch in the UK in mid-June and will cost £99, making it one of the cheapest smartwatches on the market.
The WATCH debuted at CES in Las Vegas in January and comes with a 1.22 inch display, a 210mAh battery that Alcatel Onetouch claims can last up to five days and takes about an hour to charge.
It has a heart rate monitor, acceleromater, an altimeter, an E-compass, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. It can connect with Android smartphones and also works with iOS.
The device is IP67, which means that it is water and dust resistant, and will be available online and in stores in dark red/ volcano black.
