New flagship from Korean manufacturer to go on sale in UK next week
LG has confirmed that the LG G4 will go on sale in Hong Kong this week and will be available in the UK from May 28.
The manufacturer’s latest flagship handset, which was launched at a press event in London last month by UK head of mobile Andrew Coughlin, will be available through Carphone Warehouse, O2, Three and Vodafone in the UK.
Distributor Exertis has landed an exclusive agreement to supply the handset which is priced at £499 SIM-free. LG says it will be available through 180 operators and retailers globally.
It features a 5.5 inch screen, 16 megapixel rear and eight megapixel front facing camera capable of “DSLR quality” imaging, 32GB storage (expandable to 128GB), Android 5.1 Lollipop and a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Uniquely, the phone is available with an integrated real leather casing on its back.
