It joins O2, Vodafone and Three in stocking manufacturer’s flagship smartphone for this year, despite snubbing the G3 last year
EE will become the final mobile operator to stock the LG G4 – the manufacturer’s flagship smartphone for this year. It will be available at EE over the coming weeks.
It joins rivals O2, Vodafone and Three in stocking the device, which was unveiled at a launch event in London on April 28 and went on sale in the UK on May 27. It will be the only LG handset that EE currently stocks.
EE did not stock the LG G3 when it was released a year ago, which led to suggestions of a breakdown in the relationship between the two firms, something that EE has always denied.
At the launch event just over a month ago, LG Electronics president Brian Na described the G5 as an “engineering masterpiece”.
LG UK head of mobile Andy Coughlin added: “The LG G4 is the latest result of our hard work. It would take more than a day to go through everything that it can do. It’s our most innovative smartphone ever.”
