Distributor says it grew sales of manufacturers unified comms products by 140 per cent in the past year
Exertis has been named as NEC’s Fastest Growing EMEA Unified Communications Distributor.
The distributor received the gong at the technology manufacturer’s EMEA Partner Conference which was held in Athens last month.
Exertis beat distributors from 40 other countries to take the accolade and says it grew sales of NEC’s unified communications solutions by 140 per cent across the year. It also claimed that the growth was supported by the only 24/7 support for NEC’s products in the UK channel.
“A massive thank you goes out to everyone in our business that played a key role in helping Exertis win this award,” said Exertis head of systems and support John Bird. “It represents the commitment and hard work that our specialist VAD Division and dedicated NEC Business Unit have delivered in partnership with the loyalty, support and dedication we receive from our reseller channel.”
Exertis Group posted revenues of £2.35 billion during the year-ending March 31, up 3.8 per cent year-on-year. Operating profit also increased over the reporting period, by 2.6 per cent to £49.3 million.
