O2 launches new multi-million pound campaign for Priority


Promotion, which starts with a television advert tonight, will showcase new offers Boots, ODEON, Cafe Nero, Zizzi and All 4

O2 is launching a new multi-million pound campaign to celebrate a range of exclusive new offers available through its digital loyalty scheme, Priority.

All O2 customers will be able to explore fresh offers from Boots, ODEON, Caffe Nero, Zizzi and All 4 on top of a range of Priority offers which are updated on a daily basis.

Boots will now be joining the nationwide £1 lunch offer, which launched in May 2014. The likes of Upper crust, Pumpkin and Domino’s currently offer this deal, It means that every Monday O2 customers will now also be able to buy a meal deal for £1 through Priority at Boots.

For a limited period customers will be able to pick up a free hot drink from Caffe Nero from Monday to Friday. All week O2 customers can enjoy free Prosecco and olives, or a free desert with a main meal from Sunday to Thursday from Zizzi. Finally, once a week, customers can enjoy a free small box of popcorn with purchase of ODEON cinema tickets.

The new advert to promote these new offers will air during tonight’s episode of ‘Big Bang Theory’ on E4. O2 said the nee advert “cheekily highlights” its mantra of ‘Be More Dog’. It shows people of all ages walking down a high street using their mobiles to unlock offers available to them and wagging their tales, just like a dog does when it is happy.

O2 marketing and consumer director Nina Bibby said: “With one offer being redeemed every 12 seconds we know how much our customers love saving money and getting great experiences with Priority.

“By giving them access to new offers with partners such as Boots UK, ODEON, Zizzi, Caffè Nero and All 4 on top of the hundreds of existing offers, we are more confident than ever that there will be something for everyone to enjoy – or something to get your tail wagging, as per our ad.”

Priority, which helped customers achieve savings of more than £15 million last year, is exclusive to all O2 customers. The app, available as a free download, hosts thousands of deals from a range of high street and online retailers and is updated daily with new deals, discounts and competitions.
