Latest tablet/hybrid from Microsoft to go on sale in the UK tomorrow
O2 has landed a three month exclusive on the Microsoft Surface 3 4G for the enterprise and small business markers.
The device is a hybrid tablet/laptop which has a USB port allowing for users to complete tasks which would normally require a full laptop. It also comes with the option to add a detachable keyboard for full laptop functionality.
O2 will also offer the wifi-only Surface Pro 3 with both devices going on sale tomorrow (July 3).
The Surface 3 4G runs on Windows 8.1 and features a 10.8-inch HD screen, 8MP camera, 3.5MP front-facing camera and a quad-core 1.6GHz processor. It comes with either 64GB or 128GB of internal memory.
O2 is offering the device with 2GB data for £27.67 per month with a £50 upfront payment.
The Surface Pro 3 has a 12-inch HD screen, two 5MP cameras and a stylus pen.
As part of the launch, O2 is offering a 50 per cent reduction on the standard price of the Surface 3 keyboard when purchased alongside O365, McAfee Multi Access anti-virus software or MDM software, Microsoft Intune.
