Donovan comes in as SVP of global distribution, while Ktisti is the company’s new director of mobile solutions
Former Ingram Micro Mobility senior employees Fergal Donovan (pictured) and Marios Ktisti have joined Data Select and Expansys parent company Brandpath.
The pair left Ingram last month after their European roles were made redundant.
Donovan, who spent 10 years at Ingram as VP of global vendors, joins as its new SVP global distribution, resuming the role left vacant by Roy Taylor who left in June.
He will be responsible for driving Brandpath Group’s international expansion plans with teams in France, Hong Kong and America.
Donovan, who joined on September 1, said it was the firm’s strength and ambitions for the future which attracted him to the role.
“I believe the mix of logistics, distribution, services and ecommerce capabilities provides an industry leading solution to all existing and new mobility vendors,” he said.
“We have a very good platform for growth and I believe I can help it achieve on its ambitions.”
Brandpath executive chairman and president Peter Jones added: “We are growing rapidly in both distribution and ecommerce and I am fully committed to continually improving the experience that we have in our company. Fergal will be a tremendous asset to the team and I am sure that our many partners will benefit from his broad industry knowledge and experience.”
Ktisti, who spent five years as senior manager for mobility services at Ingram Micro, joined Brandpath on September 10, and is the firm’s new director of mobile solutions, reporting to Donovan.
“Marios used to report to me at Ingram and was very key to a lot of the strategic initiatives around the value added services area of distribution,” said Donovan. “That’s a key area in Brandpath, so I was keen to ensure we continued that level of cooperation. It’s good to have someone I trust and know will deliver.”
Meanwhile former Expansys CEO and senior vice president, Strategic Solutions at Brandpath Anthony Catterson has left the company to set up a new company, RLVNT Consulting.
