Basingstoke distributor is now certified to construct, optimise and manage enterprise networks for large, medium and small businesses using Huawei tech

Exertis has been appointed as a Huawei Certified Services Partner, extending its relationship with the Chinese manufacturer further.

By joining the Huawei CSP programme, the Basingstoke-based distributor can now offer certified, vendor backed services through the entire sales cycle providing a range of pre-sales, network design, installation and maintenance services on behalf of resellers.

It means Exertis is able to construct, optimise and manage networks for businesses of any size using Huawei’s networking technology.

Exertis services director Ian Gilbey said: “Exertis is delighted to be expanding its partnership with Huawei. With CSP accreditation, our resellers will gain significant commercial advantage in deploying Huawei networking products through Exertis, benefiting from our award winning range of services and supported by Huawei’s Co-Care model.

“This proposition is unique in the market and will provide our customers with a value-added service that will also enable them to add more margin to their business.”

To achieve the accreditation, Exertis needed to show it had multiple staff trained to Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA), Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCNP) and Huawei Certified Internet working Expert (HCIE) levels, plus the provision of an all-day technical assistance centre, and in-field technicians.

As a CSP, Exertis gains access to Huawei’s Co-Care model, allowing its VAD Solutions division to access additional maintenance services.

Huawei enterprise channel service director Kevin Wildman said “By becoming a CSP, Exertis has shown its commitment to delivering first class services to its resellers. With Huawei’s support in the enterprise business market a CSP can build and enhance its own service brand, improve customer satisfaction, stand out in the market and become an industry leader.”
