Corbett joins from Virgin Group, where he worked with new Bullitt CEO Peter Stephens who joined manufacturer on January 1
Bullitt Group has appointed former Virgin investment director Lawrence Corbett as its new chief of operations, Mobile News can exclusively reveal.
Corbett has been appointed to the role by new Bullitt CEO and fellow Virgin alumni Peter Stephens, who joined the Reading-based manufacturer on January 1.
During his time at Virgin, Corbett oversaw the launch of five Virgin Mobile brands across Latin America, while he has also held roles on the board of numerous countries in the UK, Russia and India.
Other previous roles include a two-year stint as an international telecoms consultant for Straight Up Limited, where he claims to have provided consultancy for EE (then Everything Everywhere).
Stephens said “Joining Bullitt in this phase of the company’s development is truly exciting and I’m delighted that Lawrence has come on board. Having spent the majority of his career working in telecoms businesses and investments he will be an invaluable asset to the management team.”
In his new role, Corbett will be tasked with driving operational improvements across the company in support of the company’s brand portfolio, which includes Caterpillar, Ministry of Sound, Ted Baker, Kodak and JCB.
