Distributor’s new website offers Mac, iPhone, iPod and various other Apple products to partners
Tech Data has relaunched its Eden website with a new design it claims will make the process of finding and configuring Apple products easier.
The distributor launched the original Eden site in August 2012. It claims the new site makes it easier for partners to find individual products amongst the many thousands available. Resellers can now configure Apple Mac orders to exact customer requirements using a new Discover Mac section. Alternative models will be offered if the requested configuration is not in stock. Another new feature includes an area where partners can check their web orders.
A new service also allows customers to preview what engravings will look like on a device. The font and positioning of the text can be modified, whilst logos can be uploaded. Images can be sent to an end user for approval.
Customers can now access a page with advice on how they can maximise sales potential with Apple products and accessories. This comes in the form of Apple specialists on hand to assist partners with any Apple related queries.
