TMT First gains AATF licence

Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) is the highest standard of licensing available from Environmental Agency for electrical equipment

TMT First has been made an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility be the Environmental Agency, the highest available licence for electronic equipment.

The AATF licence means the logistics service provider will be able to provide partners with fully compliant Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) services.

TMT First recently moved to a new 40,000 square foot facility near Newcastle-under-Lyme as part of a major expansion. Its customers include Carphone Warehouse, Virgin Media, Brightstar, Exertis, Data Select, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony Mobile.

TMT First managing director Adam Whitehouse said: “As a specialist in reverse logistics and repair services the AATF licence further reinforces both our service offering and environmental credentials.

“Our customers and partners now have the added comfort in knowing that not only can we safely dispose of materials and devices, but also assume that responsibility.”
