Apple iPhone SE goes on sale today


Manufacturer’s mid-range smartphone now available from all networks and major retailers

The Apple iPhone SE has today gone on sale at all major mobile operators and retailers.

At Carphone Warehouse, the 16GB model is free on a £29.99 contract with 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data. The 64GB model on Vodafone comes free with unlimited minutes, texts and 11GB of data for £36 per month.

EE has the 16GB version from £27.49 (49.99 upfront). This comes with 500MB of data, 500 minutes and unlimited texts. The most expensive option costs £44.99 per month for 20GB of data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts.

Prices from Three start from £31 per month for the 16GB version, and £36 per month for the 64GB. These tariffs come with 1GB of data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts.

Both the 16GB and 64GB models are available from Vodafone. Customers can get either respectively for £34 per month and £40 per month, both with a £9 upfront cost. This comes with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 2GB of data.

O2 has made the 16GB model free on a £33 per month deal with unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB of data. The larger variant is available with the same allowances for an additional £5 per month.

Apple unveiled the four-inch iPhone SE, along with a smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro and updates to the Apple Watch, at a launch event in California last Monday (March 21).
