Huawei has appointed Shi Weiliang (pictured) as its new UK enterprise business group vice president.

Prior to taking on this position he was the manufacturer’s president of enterprise business for West Africa. He spent a year and half in this role (May 2014 to December 2015) leading a sales team. He first joined the company in March 2006 as Central Africa Republic country manager.

“Our enterprise business has seen strong growth in the last few years and leading the UK enterprise business is an exciting opportunity,” commented Weiliang. “I look forward to working with our partners to help Huawei meet the growing demands that face many UK businesses today.”

The company recently revealed to Mobile News that the budget for its P9 marketing campaign in the UK topped £10 million.
