New tariffs ranges are called 4GEE Essentials, 4GEE, and 4GEE Max plans: Some deals include Roam Like Home and BT Sport offers
EE has unveiled a major overhaul of its pay monthly consumer tariffs, introducing three new tiers across its price plans.
The operator, now part of BT, will now offer new and upgrading customers plans with 4G data allowances ranging from 300MB to 40GB, with some of the top level deals also including a free subscription to the BT Sport app.
The Essential plans start from £16.99 per month with 300MB of data, 300 minutes and unlimited texts. The 4G data allowances gives download speeds up to 20Mbps, while customers can also access BT Sport for up to six months. The top priced Essential plan costs from £35.99 per month with 20GB of data.
For 4GEE plans, customers get download speeds up to 60Mbps and an EU roaming allowance of 500Mb, plus unlimited calls and texts. The plans range from £20.99 per month for 1GB of data to £35.99 for 20GB, all with unlimited calls and texts.
Max plans start at £25.99 per month but include the BT Sport app throughout plus EE’s new roaming offer, EU Roam Like Home. This lets customers use their calls, minutes and data while in Europe.
The entry plan gives 3GB of data, while the top priced plan costs from £45.99 per month and gives 40GB of data. The plans went on sale today (August 16).
