iD Mobile pushes profile with ITV2 advertising campaign

The Carphone owned network will sponsor animated TV shows on ITV2  for six months in a bid to boost profile

Sponsorship started yesterday (October 19). BAFTA nominated Family Guy is one of four shows to be sponsored by iD Mobile. Other popular animated series are: The Cleveland Show, American Dad and Border Town.

The TV idents will also feature characters made from the iD Mobile Logo (see above).

The move is the next marketing step for the MVNO, who previously carried out a Facebook campaign #DoYourOwnThing, which followed journeys of individuals who do things differently.

iD Mobile operates on the Three network and was only launched in May 2015 by Carphone Warehouse.

iD Mobile head of marketing Mark Bowles said: “The sponsorship of the Family Guy Package allows us to reach the iD Mobile target audience and drive mass awareness.”
