World’s first subscription based marketplace OnBuy now live offering incentives for early-adopters
OnBuy offers subscription based marketplace taking a monthly payment of £49 instead of commission per product sold.
Early-adopters will gain £500 in credit for ‘boosting’, which works similarly to Facebook post boosting.
Other benefits include ‘stickiness’ a rating that values age of membership gaining seniority over sellers selling similar products looking to undercut.
A “high-profile” marketing campaign across online, print ,TV, radio and social media, in early 2017.
OnBuy managing director Cas Paton, who was previously MD for Visor Limited, worked in the refurbished smartphone segment, establishing relationships with the likes of Bamboo Distribution, Mazuma Mobile and Envirofone. He also runs phone recycling comparison site OnRecycle.
