Carphone Warehouse unveils ‘Black Tag’ for Christmas rush

Ten day promotion offers a number of discounts on smartphones and accessories

Carphone Warehouse have announced which handsets, tariffs and accessories customers can save on as part of their ‘Black Tag’ extravaganza.

The deals run from November 21-30 and features savings on premium handsets exclusively available to customers with their price promise still active.

Smartphones including the 32GB Google Pixel can be picked up for £29.99 per month on contract. That tariff will hand customers a saving of £6 per month which translates to £150 over the 24 months the contract will run for.

Customers can also make a saving of £200 on the Samsung Galaxy S7 (£24 per month), Sony Xperia XZ (£28 per month) and the Apple iPhone 6s (£28 per month). All are on plans with 500MB of data with the latter available with a £59.99 up front cost and the other two available for free.

The retailer is also offering half price off cases, power banks and the Goji VR headset which is compatible with all smartphones, available for £12.49.

Customers can also save on a number of prepay handsets. The Huawei P9 Lite is discounted by £100 to now cost £149.99 with the Sony Xperia XA having £60 knocked off its price to now cost £129.99.

Carphone Warehouse managing director Jeremy Fennell said: “We’re the UK’s biggest mobile retailer and we’ve got a range of amazing deals across the board, with up to half price off the latest mobile accessories and hundreds of pounds off selected handsets.

“We don’t think we should start or end with Black Friday, which is why we’re brig back Black Tag and extending our unbeatable offers for ten days without 24-hour rush.”
