Plan.com and Carphone Warehouse Business win at O2 Partner awards

The One Point and Vivio also won prizes at last night’s awards held in London

Plan.com and Carphone Warehouse Business both took home prizes at O2’s annual Partner of the Year awards last night (November 30).

The event was held at the Pullman Hotel in London, awarding various O2 partners across its direct, distribution and wholesale channels. Each winner was measured on various factors such as net base growth, customer satisfaction index and digital sales.

O2 has organised the event since 2009. This year saw Plan.com take home the prize for Wholesale Partner of the Year, whilst Carphone Warehouse Business was awarded Distribution Partner of the Year. The One Point was named Direct (small) Partner of the Year, whilst Vivio took the title of Direct (large) partner of the Year.

Other shortlisted companies include Bamboo and Zest 4 (Wholesale), Daisy and Chess (Distribution), Cellular Solutions and Pure Telecom (Direct small) and Active Digital and Signal Telecom (Direct large).

Hosting the event was O2 sales director Ben Dowd, head of SMB sales Darren Buttrick and head of partners Jason Phillips.

Phillips said: “2016 has been a fantastic year across all of O2’s partner channels as we continue to focus on delivering high quality mobile and digital performance for our customers. We would like to congratulate all of the winners this year and look forward to continuing leading the marketplace together in 2017.”
