Tom Malleschitz steps down as Three chief marketing officer

He took on the role in 2011 and led the operator’s #makeitright campaign

Tom Malleschitz has moved from his previous role as Three chief marketing officer to a new position within the group as CK Hutchison chief digital officer.

Malleschitz entered the newly created position this month. Three did not reveal any further detail, apart from saying that it is an “opportunity to strength and grow digital products and services for the company” both in the UK and across the Hutchison group.

He had entered his most recent role with Three in July 2011, where he was responsible for all marketing activities and customer relations. Malleschitz most notably led the operator’s #makeitright campaign. He had been part of Three since 2002 as its head of multimedia production.

The operator is currently looking for a replacement Three director of brand and comms Lianne Norry and Three director of strategy and insights Marsha Lenihan oversee marketing operations.
