Data Select has confirmed the appointment of former Westcoast telco director Richard Wills (pictured above) as head of B2B sales.
Wills joined in February following the departure of B2B head Emrah Kulunk and is tasked with driving the B2B sales team and overall strategy for the Marlow-based distributor.
Mobile News approached Wills for comment. The new head of B2B sales had been on garden leave since departing rival Westcoast as telco director, a position he held for over two years.
Prior to Westcoast, Wills served almost two years at Ingram Micro Mobility in a number of roles, departing as director of sales and marketing in 2015.
During his time with technology distributor BrightPoint from 2009 to 2013, Ingram acquired it for $650 million (£467 million).
According to Linkedin former Data Select head of B2B Emrah Kulunkh has departed for a firm called uComms.
Mobile News has reached out to Kulunk for comment and further information on his new role. Kulunkh was introduced in his former role at the Data Select Platinum club in October.
He spent eight months in the role from July to March. Prior to this he was sales director at London based UC specialist GCI. He spent over three years as Vodafone business partner manager between 2010 and 2013.
Data Select Group CEO Fergal Donovan said: “Richard brings with him a wealth of UK mobile/ tech experience and a proven track record having held multiple senior distribution positions.
“I would also like to thank Emrah for his contribution whilst at Data Select and wish him well with his new venture.”
