Brentford-based dealer Citycom has kicked off the new year with a major rebrand that will see the launch of a new logo, website and upgraded customer portal. The new look comes from a £100,000 cash injection.
Citycom managing director Vinod Kakkar proclaimed the move as a “step in the right direction” after a successful 2018, in which the firm was upgraded to the status of Vodafone Total Communications Partner status, and was nominated in that category at the operator’s eight annual Partner of the Year Awards.
The upgraded portal will be a one-stop shop for Citycom customers such as Tata Communications and residential care home firm Caretech. Now more GDPR compliant, the portal allows customers to view purchased hardware and bills, and get a smoother experience through API integration.
Kakkar said: “Last year was a pinnacle year for us. We won key clients that pushed us further and we were rewarded with Total Communications status.
“Our new status came with funding and perks that spurred us to up the ante, which led to this rebrand. This is the first time we pushed a major investment into our brand. We’ve spent up to £100,000 on this deep dive to set us up for more success this year.”
Operations director Rashmina Kakkar added: “The rebrand and the investment in business tools are a testament to our focus on improving the user experience, and refining our provision of market-leading managed services.”
