Orange gets new head of direct marketing

September 4, 2008

Jeremy Morris, formerly with prepay acquisition team, moves to role as head of direct marketing, overseeing Orange's direct acquisition strategy

Orange UK has appointed Jeremy Morris as its new head of direct marketing.

His appointment follows the integration of Orange's business and consumer direct marketing and retail publications team, part of UK managing director Tom Alexander's continuing restructure of the UK business. %u2028

Morris' responsibilities include planning, developing and delivering Orange's direct acquisition strategy, while also managing below-the-line communications. He will also work with Orange's new direct marketing agency Chemistry and ensure Orange's 'Together We Can Do More' campaign is integrated into all its direct marketing activity.

Morris, who previously spent five years as head of prepay acquisition, replaces Spencer McHugh who has recently been appointed Orange's UK head of brand communications.

Orange UK brand director Justin Billingsley said: "Jeremy has been instrumental in the success of our PAYG direct marketing campaigns over the years.

"Orange is going through a period of exciting change, and I look forward to him taking his team to the  next  level to deliver quality integrated direct marketing activity that continues  to build on the Together We Can Do More brand  activity for all aspects of  the business."
