T-Mobile brings mobile broadband to prepay

September 19, 2008

Unlimited use of mobile broadband on prepay starts at £2 a day

T-Mobile has launched a range of prepay mobile broadband packages to allow customers to pick and choose when they need access to the web.

The packages, which launched yesterday, allow prepay customers to select one of three packages to suit their needs at any time, without signing a contract.

All packages include unlimited usage, starting at £2 for one day, £10 for seven days and £20 for 30 days.

Customers require a T-Mobile USB Stick 110, offering speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, and costs £49.99 from stores, selected supermarkets and high street stores.

Customers can purchase credit in their usual way, or directly on the laptop through the T-Mobile website, selecting which package they want at the time.

T-Mobile head of internet and entertainment Richard Warmsley said: "We've seen massive demand for mobile broadband, so we're creating ways for customers to only pay for days they actually need.

“We have removed all complexity from the mobile broadband story, giving customers the confidence to simply pick it up off the shelf and start using it.”
