Lloyds TSB to launch mobile banking in UK

Lloyds TSB has announced plans to launch a new service enabling customers to manage their accounts through their mobile phone.

The move will enable people to move money instantly between accounts held with the bank, view their account balances and check their last six transactions through their phone.

Customers will also be able to top up their own or other people's prepay' mobile phones from their current account when the service is launched in October.

Customers will have to enter a six digit code before they can view their accounts or move money between them.
