SIMable adds iPhone to unlockable list
October 21, 2008
Unlocking company claims breakthrough in cracking solution for Apple iPhone 3G, as well as BlackBerry Bold and Nokia E71
SIM card unlocking company SIMable has developed a new version of its unlocking chip which is compatible with the iPhone 3G and other smartphones.
SIMable has said that its product now fully supports 85 per cent of all handsets and has added the BlackBerry Bold and Nokia E71 to its portfolio of compatible devices, alongside Apple’s device.
The chip unlocks SIM cards rather than individual handsets, eliminating the need to unlock several devices, and does not interfere with the manufacturer warranty as the handset is not altered.
The user has to cut a piece from their SIM with SIMable’s cutting press, making a hole which is aligned with its chip, unlocking the handset.
The product can be bought on SIMable’s website (www.simable.com) and retails at £16.99, excluding standard delivery.
