Department store to showcase 10 limited edition BlackBerry Bold devices, redressed in Selfridges' trademark yellow colour, to sell for £1,000
BlackBerry-maker RIM has been commissioned by department store Selfridges to create an exclusive limited edition yellow BlackBerry Bold, priced at £1,000, to celebrate the store’s 100th birthday.
There will be 10 of the limited edition handsets on sale from today. They will feature a leather back plate in Selfridges’ trademark yellow colour, and redesigned number keys on the front. The 10 handsets will also come with exclusive VIP support.
RIM joins other brands such as Jimmy Choo, Lulu Guinness, Mulberry, Paul Smith, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, Smythson, Marc Jacobs and Giles Deacon, who have all collaborated with Selfridges to celebrate the centenary.
