Vyke Mobile launches cheap calls

VoIP provider Vyke has launched Vyke Mobile, a prepay application that allows users to save money on international calls and texts. The application, previously in beta mode, is downloadable from the web and works across mobile and Wi-Fi.

On-network Wi-Fi calls are free, calls to UK landlines are 2p per minute, calls to UK mobiles are 9p per minute and UK texts are 3p. International calls to 22 countries, including the USA and Canada, are 2p per hour.

Mobile VoIP calls require network approval, 2p per minute, for calls to UK landlines, 12p to mobiles and 3p to text.
