Ofcom expands spectrum board

Regulator appoints four new members to spectrum advistory board to advise on how to manage the resource
Telecoms industry regulator Ofcom has announced four new members to its spectrum advisory board (OSAB).
The new members join eight existing members in providing advice to Ofcom on long term technical, architectural and spectrum management issues.
The appointments will last for a period of three years.
The new members are Linda Doyle, who is an Associate Professor at Trinity College, University of Dublin in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering; Philip Marnick, who is currently chief technology officer of voice-to-text technology provider SpinVox; Brigadier David Meyer from the British Army’s Royal Corps of Signals; and Gavin Young, chief architect for access within Cable and Wireless.
