O2: free broadband with iPhone

O2 is offering free fixed line broadband for Apple iPhone customers purchasing the 3GB internet tethering bolt on before December 31.

The bolt on is priced at £9.79 per month enabling customers to connect an iPhone to a laptop, which will operate like a mobile broadband dongle.

Alternatively, customers can claim £7.34 per month for O2 Home Broadband packages.

O2 head of consumer mobile Peter Rampling said: "This is a brilliant deal for people who want tethering and home internet. Effectively you get both for just £9.79 a month. Total Connectivity means our customers will always be connected, at home and on the move."
