Carphone Warehouse to launch branded prepay card

The Carphone Warehouse is to launch a branded mobile prepay card in August.

Users can manage their card via their handset, using a secure application to top up their card directly from their bank account to purchase items in Carphone Warehouse stores and other retail outlets around the world. The card will be linked in with a major credit card issuer and can be used globally wherever that card issuer is accepted.
