Sony Ericsson unveils three handsets

Tuesday 8 January 2008

Sony Ericsson has unveiled two new Walkman phones and a fashion handset.

The W760i Walkman phone, which includes HSDPA connectivity, also features built-in GPS (that lets users search 20 million points of interest), stereo speakers, 1GB memory card, 3.2-megapixel camera and a motion sensor that allows users to control games using the motion of the handset.

The W350i is Sony Ericsson’s first Walkman flip phone. It features music control keys on the front cover, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, USB connection and comes with a 512 MB memory card and a HBH-DS205 Bluetooth headset, which has stereo streaming for wireless music listening.

Finally, the Z555i clamshell has a reflective diamond finish and is available in either ‘Diamond Black’ or ‘Dusted Rose’. The outside display becomes invisible when the phone is not in use. There is also an option to automatically update the handset’s design themes throughout the year; for example, in summer the handset will display a summer theme on both the home and menu screens. Features include a 1.3-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, 12 MB internal memory and Bluetooth connectivity.

The manufacturer has also released a series of fashion accessories for the Z555i, including four leather bags and three Bluetooth headsets.
