PC World offering free laptop with 3

PC World is offering a free laptop to any customer who joins 3's mobile broadband service.

The deal is only eligible to new customers who join the 3 Turbo network, which costs £35 per month and comes with an 18-month contract.

Customers will receive a free laptop worth up to £350 or receive discounts to the same amount on selected other laptops. They will also get 3 USB modem ‘Dongle’ with a 3GB Internet data allowance, download speeds capable of reaching up to 2.8 Mbps and 200 texts per month.

The announcement comes only weeks after 3 unveiled a similar deal with the Carphone Warehouse.

Glenn Orchard, Head of Commercial Development, PC World says: “The difference with this laptop offer is that it comes with a Broadband connection that truly fulfils the portable potential of a laptop. It’s great for those customers who do not require, or have access to a fixed landline telephone.”
