Vodafone ties up deal with BBC Sport for coverage of Beijing Olympics

Vodafone has teamed up with BBC Sport to provide free Olympic coverage to customers bia its Vodafone Live portal.

The deal will give users access to the action from Beijing from a customisable sport homepage and will help them to get the best from the games.

As well as the sports news, video highlights will also be available free of charge.

Vodafone UK head of branded content Mike Eaton said: "It's another example of Vodafone leading the mobile data market and allowing customers to make the most of their time by accessing the growing mobile internet."

Customers with N95 8GB handsets can also download a BBC Sport news 'widget', which gives immediate access to this content.
