Well done to the Everything cycling Everywhere team, which included peddle pushers from Samsung and Sony, for completing a 48-hour Paddington to Paris challenge.
The team raised more than £50,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. But they almost didn’t make it.
With the 320-mile journey almost complete, and just 40 minutes to go, the team reached Paris. They needed only to cycle to the Eiffel Tower to complete the challenge. Easy. Big steel thing. Can’t miss it.
Except a dodgy GPS meant the team couldn’t find its way to the monument. Not even Everything Everywhere CEO Olaf Swantee, who lived in Paree, knew the way.
Apparently, a Samsung Galaxy Note with GPS got them there with five minutes to spare. Of course.

By the time you read this (hopefully) 11 staff at Everything Everywhere (including head honcho Olaf Swantee) will have spent two days in the saddle in a Samsung-sponsored charity ride pedalling from Paddington to Paris.
It’s all to raise £50,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. So, off you go to justgiving.com/EverythingEverywhere. You can make sure all those blisters and sore feet will not have been for nothing.
