Three NHS Trusts serving Hertfordshire have benefited from the donation made by Bamboo Distribution

Bamboo Distribution has donated 250 new Apple iPhone and Samsung S7 large screen phones with a retail value of approximately £70,000 to the three NHS Trust serving Hertfordshire.

The phones will be distributed between the West Herts, East and North Herts and PAH Trust which cover Watford General, The Lister and Harlow hospitals and will give seriously ill patients suffering from Covid-19 the opportunity to connect with their family by Skype, Zoom, Facetime etc. as well as being of great use to the nursing and medical staff.

The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire-Robert Voss CBE said “This is an amazingly generous offer enabling seriously ill patients to connect with their family even in ICU. I only had to ask Bamboo’s Managing Director Juney Mistiki once for help and he responded immediately but I was blown away by the number of phones he has so generously offered. He is truly a “Hero of Hertfordshire”. I hope other companies will follow this amazing example”.
