Data Select is relocating its offices from its premises on Slough Trading Estate, Buckinghamshire, to a building 11 miles away from Network House at Globe Park in Marlow, also in Bucks.

All 80 office-based employees will move to the new facility before the end of the month. Data Select’s distribution centre will remain in Slough, with no plans to move it in the near future.

The building in Marlow has recently been renovated across three floors and features new offices, multimedia meeting rooms, reception and on-site deli.

It also houses online mobile retailer eXpansys and digital camera manufacturer Jessops, which, like Data Select, are owned wholly by entrepreneur Peter Jones.

The distributor said that as Jones also owns the building in Marlow, relocating the office staff will reduce overheads in Slough.

The move comes after Data Select managing director Roy Taylor told Mobile News earlier this month that retail and key accounts offer the best opportunity for growth in the market. It appointed Rob Hunt and Katherine Corb as new national account managers to help achieve this.
