Nick Rumsby charged with helping the growth of Samsung sales to the channel at distributor
Distributor Exertis Micro-P has appointed former BlackBerry executive Nick Rumsby to its Samsung Mobile team.
Rumsby spent two years as EMEA service development manager at the handset manufacturer and now becomes the business manager of the Exertis’ Samsung unit. He also held the roles of carrier technical manager and field test engineer at the Canadian firm.
He left Blackberry at the beginning of January and joined the distributor on April 1. In his new position, he will support the sales team and will also deal with supply, purchasing and stock management.
He will report directly Exertis Micro-P head of mobile devices Ewan Davies.
