Exertis Micro-P has shuffled its mobile management structure with Stuart Bruce taking on the newly created split role of head of services and accessories sales within its retail team.

Bruce has headed up Attach, the distributor’s mobile and PC accessories channel sales division, for the past year having originally joined as commercial head for accessories.

Exertis’ former general manager PC Joe Officer will replace Bruce running the Attach team, having been coaxed back from a career break as a ski instructor in France by UK sales director Simon Woodman.

Officer had previously spent almost 20 years with Exertis previously holding a number of roles including business development manager at is Peripherals division. In a statement he said he was excited to be returning and working within the wearables sector.

“The accessories opportunity is massive and this company is at the forefront of breaking innovations, with strong relationships between ourselves and all the major accessory manufacturers. That includes those central to the major 2014 trend of wearable technology, including Jawbone, Samsung, and Sony Mobile,” he said.
