The company wants to be Net Zero by 2030

Genuine Solutions Group has set out to become Net Zero by 2030, with the firm confirming its status as a carbon neutral company.

It comes as the Surbiton-based accessories distributor undertook its first annual carbon footprint of the year during the 2019 to 2020 financial year.

Genuine Solutions Group have so far diverted 9,000 tonnes of WEEE (waste from electrical and electronic equipment) from landfills as part of its initial sustainability efforts.

The company plans to improve its carbon footprint rating year on year, measuring all emissions.

Genuine Solutions Group will work with sustainability experts and form strategic partnerships as part of its plans to reach Net Zero status by the end of the decade, according to the company in a statement.

To help achieve the target, Genuine Solutions Group has engaged with independent environmental consultancy firm Resource Futures.
