Every handset purchased will act as an entry into a prize draw that includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the FA National Football Centre

EE distributor Mainline Digital Communications is to run a football-themed incentive in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup in Brazil this month.

The promotion, which runs from June 12 to July 13 (the same time as the World Cup), sees every handset ordered generating the dealer an entry into a prize draw for an overnight stay for two at the Hilton St George’s Park Hotel, as well as a tour of the adjourning FA National Football Centre.

This is home to all 24 England football teams as they train ahead of international fixtures.

The tour also includes a replica of the pitch used at Wembley Stadium, changing rooms, autograph wall and areas of the hotel where the teams stay.

The firm will also send World Cup gifts to dealers, including England flags, key rings and mini-footballs every time an order for five or more handsets is placed.

Mainline managing director Andrew Boden (pictured) said: “Whatever England’s chances, the World Cup is always a major event that grabs attention and raises the mood of the whole country. Our World Cup goodie packs and prize draw will help dealers make the most of this exciting and  – hopefully – memorable occasion.”
