The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are both available from later this month
Google has unveiled its latest smartphone, with all four UK operators confirming the phone will be available later this month.
The US giant has unveiled the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, with both phones the first in its series to be powered by Google’s own Tensor processor.
This chipset will enable new AI capabilities according to Google, with the Pixel starting from £599 and the Pixel Pro from £849.
Both smartphones will be shipped with Android 12 when released later this month, with EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three all announcing pre-orders are available from today (October 20).
The Pixel 6 comes with a 6.4-inch screen and features a 50MP main camera, along with an 12MP ultra-wide camera and 8MP selfie camera.
It comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, plus a 4,614mAh battery.
Meanwhile the Pixel 6 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.7-inch screen and comes with a 48MP main camera that comes with four times optical zoom. On the front is an 11MP camera.
As for storage it has options of either 128GB or 256, while there is 12GB of RAM and a 5,003mAh battery.
