Rugged smartphone brand Hammer has chosen Elite Mobile as its official UK partner.
The partnership will see the UK telco distributor Elite Mobile help distribute Hammer’s smartphone range to its partners.
This comes as the Polish vendor gears up to release its first rugged 5G device in Q4.
Hammer, which operates across 18 European countries, claims to account for a third of the rugged market in Poland and is looking to expand its presence in the UK.
The vendor’s smartphones come with Android OS, and feature water and dust-resistance, and long-lasting batteries.
Hammer national account manager Charlotte Leishman said: “With years of knowledge and experience within the rugged market, we know that Elite is the right partner to distribute our brand.
“One of the reasons we chose to partner with Elite Mobile was the recent appointment by Google making Elite an official device reseller for Android zero- touch enrolment.”
Elite Mobile trading director Wayne Langford added: “Elite Mobile has been distributing rugged handsets to the market for over five years.
“The next step is to strengthen our market share in the enterprise and retail sectors by partnering exclusively with Hammer.
“We are excited about this partnership, especially with the recent appointment of Elite to become an official device reseller for Android zero touch enrolment.”
