The company partnered up with Dolby to create the TAB3 series, which includes the 7, 8 and 10 Business

Lenovo claims its new TAB3 range will ‘transform mobile entertainment’ through its audio technology.

The manufacturer launched the tablets, which it teamed up with Dolby to create, at Mobile World Congress. There are three tablets in the range, including the TAB3 7, TAB3 8 and TAB3 10 Business (pictured).

Each device includes Dolby Atmos sound technology. The company claims it allows them to deliver ‘breathtaking audio’ from both headphones and the built-in speakers.

Lenovo Mobile Business Group VP Jeff Meredith said: “We look forward to delivering the amazing moving audio experience to more consumers with the new Lenovo TAB3 series.”

All three devices are powered by Android Marshmallow 6.0, Google’s latest operating system.

The TAB3 7 has a 7-inch LCD display, a 1GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Internal storage is 16GB and it has a 5MP rear camera with a 2MP front-facing camera.

Move up to the 8 and you get an 8-inch HD display and 4,290mAh battery. The most premium of the trio is the TAB3 10, which has a 10.1-inch HD display and dual speakers. Also included is a 1.3GHz processor, 7,000mAh battery and 64GB of internal storage.

The tablets will be available from June. Mobile News has contacted Lenovo for UK pricing.
