Oppo has confirmed that it will unveil its next flagship smartphone the Find X2 in the first quarter of next year.

In a statement Oppo confirmed that the Find X2 will become one of the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 865 processor.

While no specs have been announced yet, Oppo said that the Find X2 will be 5G enabled, with Oppo executive director Michael Tran promising consumers to expect big things from Oppo in 2020.

“2020 is gearing up to be an exciting year for Oppo. Not only are we set to expand our portfolio of smart devices with products such as smart headphones and smart watches, we will also be launching our next-generation flagship smartphone.

“We know that more and more consumers are using their devices to play games or consume content on the go. We feel confident that the Find X2 will provide them with the most immersive experience possible to do so.”

It has been a busy year for Oppo, particularly in Europe where the brand has launched in a number of European markets, including London in February.
